
Michał is an attorney-at-law, a counsel at BCGL and a founding partner at dotlaw, a boutique law firm specializing in information technology (IT) and intellectual property (IP) law, cybersecurity, data protection and regulatory law (fintech and medtech in particular). He has over a decade of professional experience in providing legal advisory to corporate clients, tech and gaming companies in particular.
Michał specializes in IT and IP law. He has extensive experience in
advising on various IT and IP issues, negotiating complex IT
contracts in particular (implementation, maintenance, and
licensing). He also has broad experience in advising on regulatory
issues in the areas of fintech and medtech. Michal has participated
in numerous M&A transactions involving companies from the
technology, gaming and ‘creative’ sectors.
Michał enjoys conducting workshops and training courses in the area
of new technology law. He is also a member of the Commission on New
Technologies at the Federation of the European Bars. Michał studied
abroad at Mykolo Romerio Universitetas in Vilnius as part of a
university exchange program. Michał works in Polish and English.
Prior to founding dotlaw, Michał worked for several years in the
compliance and life sciences teams of Domański Zakrzewski Palinka.
